My old college roommate and I went on our first sisterchicks adventure in September 2007 and took this book along as our devotional. I loved it! It was funny and heartwarming and dealt with topics today's American women deal with on a daily basis. It made us stop and think and reevaluate what we were doing and why we were doing it in our walk with our Lord. And it was chocked full of Robin's famous "grace" moments! And sometimes it stepped on our toes, but we needed that, too. It really made us stop and be in "awe" of all God does for us. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a closer walk with God, but especially to those others who are inspired by Robin Jones Gunn's way of writing and challenging us to dig deeper in our daily attempts to be more Christ-like.
