Our Bible study group studied this in 2013. What we found was the Old Testament opened to us like never before. So many "aha" moments like what was the big deal that Esau sold his birthright? With excitement to study the next chapter to see where Jesus manifested Himself in the book of Genesis, the ladies remarked how alive Genesis had become. We used the study guide AND the DVD. Even though the DVD was repetitious to the chapter teaching, the ladies commented on how glad they were for the DVD to punctuate the concepts for that week.

This book for women contains good, solid, theological food. Mrs. Guthrie ties Jesus to Genesis without compromising context, or twisting scripture. This book does a great job of pointing us to Christ.
