I would have liked the author to develop more content on this subject. 24 pages, in my opinion, are not enough to justify a serious look at a subject that is complex in nature. I found it to be rather simplistic. While it is a good overview, it lacks meat to put on the skeleton material presented.

Page 11, "Ask the person to keep talking until it sounds like good news and you believe it." affirmed what a friend had requested of me "because it helps."

The booklet is brief, but helpful. For a more in-depth look at depression, get Ed Welch's full length book: "Depression: A Stubborn Darkness."

A real book with real Biblical answers to depression. Not for the "pop a pill" crowd. This book deals with the tough spiritual issues behind most depression. I was pleasantly surprised at the help offered.

The size is right. The price is right. I agree with the accusations of the author.

Sorry, but this tiny booklet is a big waste of money. Not only is it a tiny thing not worth the price, but I don't agree with the accusations of the author. Think what you want, but I wouldn't suggest this booklet.
