Multnomah Books In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day (slightly imperfect)

Ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time...several times? These memories leave you with an ill taste in your mouth, and nothing good seems to come from them. But what if the seemingly messy pieces of your life were actually strategically positioned by God? What if you've actually been in the right place at the right time every time? In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day will help you make sense of your past. You'll begin to connect the dots to see clearly how God has been preparing you for future opportunities. With a God's-eye perspective, you'll soon be thanking Him - even for lions, pits, and snowy days.

Our church in VA did a sermon series on this book several years ago. My wife and I both came out of church that day stating that God had called us to a new ministry. We sat in the car and cried at how amazing our God is. The next 4 years changed our lives after ministering to marriages in a small group. We have continually been blown away with blessings after listening to God's call for us to start a new ministry. I have read the entire book one time, but have referenced the book at many times to be reminded that we are to go after life and keep the enemy at bay in our lives at all times.
Thank you Mark Batterson for taking risks each day in your ministry and for writing this book.
