The ESV Study Bible includes more than 20,000 notes, written specifically for the ESV Study Bible. I needed a new study bible and my favorite color is purple, but it was hard for me to find a purple study bible. Purchased this as a gift for my wife. She loves the appearance and the great study material. She especially likes this because it's lighter and easier to carry than the basic hardcover edition. I highly recommend this bible.

got a great bible from here!! Bought it as a valentines day gift for my fiance and she loved it. Guys try to get your girl one for V-day if she don't love getting it find out why might be imprtant to know

I have wanted an ESV Study Bible for a long time. It is absolutely Beautiful on the Outside, with imitation leather cover and a purple tooled floral design. I was also able to put my name and a very special date on the outside. It is my Baptism date.
It contains all the maps, study guides for the verses, biblical doctrine, biblical ethics, guides on teaching one how to read the bible, The Canons of Old and New testaments, Reliability and Archaeology of the Bible, A Concordance, Daily Reading Plan, Charts and diagrams and much more. It's absolutely everything that I had hoped it would be.
The only thing that I would like that this didn't have was tabs for each book, for easier/faster access to different Books.
Also, being a Genealogist, I would love a larger section to include my family tree within my Bible, to go along the the Genealogy's of the Bible.
Absolutely would recommend this Bible to everyone!
