This set is mainly the works I wanted and looks sharp in its box sitting on the sofa table, handy for switching out one book for another. I had always borrowed these books to read in years past, so now, I'm thankful to have this set of my own. Fine quality paperbacks squeezed snug together in attractive box. Definitely recommendable.

One of the best collections of books available. A must own collection for everyone. Containing Lewis' monumental work on apologetics that forever changed the debate as we now know it in Mere Christianity. His fascinating book containing fictional letters from a demon to his nephew that walk you through a man's entire life and show how the demon is trying to bring about his damnation in a way that will both entertain you educate you about spiritual warfare in The Scewtape Letters. The moving and brutal honest collection of Lewis' feelings as he wrote them after the untimely death of his wife in A Grief Observed. The entertaining story of a bus full of people traveling from Hell into Heaven and the conversations they have and the things they experience while there in The Great Divorce. A discourse on miracles that has both theological and apologetic value for the think Christian in Miracles. And a book explaining the nature of pain and resolving the age old question of how a good God could allow it in The Problem Of Pain. You will be thrilled, entertained, moved, educated, and fascinated as you read your way through some of the finest works by one of the finest authors of modern times.

I really liked the quality of the books. I have some of the originals and am reluctant to loan them out as they are hard to get as well as fragil. It was great to have you send the "Great Divorce" to a man in prison as well. I would have not been allowed to send him the book.
