An top-notch resource from a trusted author and publisher. Pastor John MacArthur testifies that he was enrolled by his father at Talbot Theological Seminary and placed under the careful tutelage of Dr. Feinberg as a personal favor to his dad. Charles Lee Feinberg trained 14 years for the rabbinate prior to his coming to Christ, going on to earn 3 degrees at Dallas Theological Seminary. His work is by far THE BEST general commentary on the Minor Prophets you will find. A great addition to any library and one that Pastors and students of the Word will consult with confidence for many years to come.

Feinberg delivers an informative book on the 12 minor prophets. I found this book to be written in an expositorial commentary form. While it is not verse-by-verse, it is indepth enough to keep your attention. I found it best to read the book along side of my study Bible and made a tremendous impact on minor prophet life and times. The book tends to take for granted the reader is secure in knowledge of the history of Israel and OT prophesy. Sometimes to a fault. But overall will encourage deeper study into the prophets.
