I got this bible because I was looking for a larger print compact Bible. It has the largest print of any compact bible I own, it also is the largest compact bible I own. This is not a giant print bible, it's just larger print. A giant print compact bible just does not exist.

This Bible is wonderful! It is just what I was looking for. The overall size is small enough to fit in my special side pocket of my everyday bag...yet the font size is big enough for me to quickly find my place when I am glancing down as I teach children. You should buy this Bible!

For the price you can't beat this great little Bible with larger print, it has made a perfect gift for a older women who doesn't get out much. I would buy another one when needed.

I like the ESV and this is a nice little compact version to read. OK so I would like the next to impossible.....this perfect size with an even larger font. John 15 read and enjoy!

I got a good chuckle when I opened my new Bible, since I ordered the Large Print and what I saw would have been considered fine print in my day. when compared to the page dimensions, I supposed it was large print, but I still can't make good notes in any margins or between sentences like I could my normal size Bible. Still, I can read it, and it is smaller and lighter. Just wished I could make notes. Still a great Bible for the price.

Crossway got it right with this one. The Tru-Tone cover has the texture and feel of real leather. Sewn edges and Smyth-sewn binding make this Bible a bargain.
Text is very readable at 8 point type.

The Bible is very nice. Has a beautiful cover and is compact for carrying. I however would not call the font size large. It is a little bigger then my current bible but not as large as I thought it would be. I think it would help to have a page displayed for people to see. I ended up going to a Christian book store...looking at the Bibles and font sizes...then ordered another Bible on here after I knew which one would work for me. Otherwise this website is great.

Since "large print" is a relative term, be sure you understand that this is a compact sized bible and large print, in this case, means an 8 point font. Eight point is the size of the text in many regular sized study bibles. That said, this bible reflects the quality (sewn binding, good print to background contrast, quality imitation leather cover, concordance included ) that has become a benchmark for Crossway Publishers. The ESV translation is the most readable of the essentially literal translations. The translators did an excellent job of maintaining accuracy, literary beauty and readability. All in all, this is an exceptional little bible.

If there were more pages, the print could be larger, but this is just like other bibles. Go for a GIANT print bible if you need larger letters.

The size is just right for taking it with you where ever you go. Another plus is the larger print that it has, size 8 I believe, as compared to many other compacts where the print can't be read comfortably without a magnifying glass. The construction has held up nicely as well, as I take it to and from work; no pages falling out, no binding tears, no deterioration from heat and humidity. The cover is a durable material as well, feels like supple leather to the touch (synthetic). The only improvement would be a few more bookmark ribbons. The most important though would be the translation and content, which I have no complaints about and are done wonderfully, especially the topic dictionary in the back. Thanks

I love the size and feel of this Bible. The 8 point font is easy to read and the cover is both comfortable to the touch and beautiful. I've been looking for a while for a 7 inch bible that was affordable, smyth sewn, had a larger font, and included a lifetime guarantee. This Bible had all of those features and I'm very glad I bought it.
I use to be wary of the newer modern translations and still am to an extent but the ESV seems to be pretty accurate so far. I'm very happy with this Bible.

I love this Bible. Small enough to carry in a purse but the print is large enough for my old eyes to read. The ESV is my version of choice too. And a plus is the cover, very pretty.

For a large print Bible, the print is pretty small. I was expecting something more on the order of the large print Thinline Bible I was given a few years ago.
