It doesn't get any better than this writer and the issues he addresses. Very important for Christians to understand what kind of society they live in and how it impacts them and their Christian beliefs.

I was overwhelmed at the intellectual level of the books. Everyone should own a set for insight into art, science, and education in general from a Christian standpoint. Easily understood but highly intellectual.

Schaeffer's writings are as relevant today as they were half a century ago when he wrote them, especially considering much of what he predicted has come to pass. He has a tremendous insight into where we are going as a human race. This price of this collection is also a terrific value.

I decided to buy this after reading "True Spirituality" by Francis Schaeffer, which I think is the best book that I have read on actually living the Christian life. It is theologically very sound & yet very practical. I have started on the First Volume of Five & it is heavy stuff. But it is very interesting & I would certainly recommend it to anyone who would like to learn more about the background & the historical progression of Christianity from after the birth of Christ

When My oldest son was about 17 and stuggling with questions about God, this was a set of books we got to study with him to dicusss some of the difficult questions he had. It helps to explain the humanist thinking of our day, and how we got to where we are, but also helps the questioning mined on where is God in all of this, and how we should respond. Excellent books.

I did not know that there was a way to easily get all of Dr Schaeffer's work in indexed volumes on my shelf. One of the better sets out there if you are looking to get some good thinking on your worldview in line...get this set!
