Focus On The Family Radio Broadcast Healing Your Family's Wounds I-II

"I wish I had aborted you." Special host Frank Pastore and guest Beverly Rodgers both heard these devastating words from their mothers, and the deep wounds they suffered would affect their own family relationships years later. On this program, psychologists Tom and Beverly Rodgers speak from experience as they recount their own dysfunctional childhoods, their flawed coping mechanisms and the resulting conflict in their marriage. But the couple can also attest to the fact that healing is possible. Regardless of your background, you, too, can break the generational cycle of woundedness and raise a healthy family.

Focus on the Family is wonderful. This program as well as all your other programs are most stimulating and inspiring.I came from a religious but very dis-functional family. My children are grown now and carry the wounds I passed on to the them and I see them passing wounds on to their children. No wonder the bible speaks about the sins of the fathers passing to the fourth and fifth generations. Before I had children I desired fervently to make a difference and change the pattern. But like my mother before me, I chose all the wrong steps.I've listened to Focus on the Family everyday now for about a year and can say it has really changed my life. I am very grateful and appreciative for the correction and admonition you speak daily. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please don't go away! Our nation needs you. Our next generation needs you.
