Thomas Nelson The Illuminati

From before the time of Christ, there have been rumors of a secret society called The Illuminati...a vicious tribe of Druids with mystical, supernatural powers. Many saw them as demons or gods. Those who opposed them simply disappeared...or met an even worse fate. Unknown to all but the very few, this group slowly infiltrated world organizations and financial institutions with a singular goal--to control the world's economic system. Now fast-forward to the year 2020. The Illuninati has succeeded in placing one of their people in the office of the presidency of the United States. With the worldwide launch of a financial system know as Data-Net, they gain unlimited power. How do you escape an unknown enemy operating at the highest levels who can track you every move?

Mr. Burkett nailed it. Well written for a typically reference/nonfiction writer.

Hands down, this was the best book that I've read! Like one of the earlier reviews, I could hardly put it down, if I said I was going to read two chapters, I'd end up reading six. I read this book about four years ago and plan on reading it again since I found it on this website. Bottom line...this is a must read, keeps you hooked from beginning to end!

I read this book several years ago and found it the best written and most exciting book in a long while. Now this time I am trying to find the version I originally read From the description and the first review I find it hard to believe it was read as written. I was told before I read it that it would take a while to read and that it was difficult to get through. I could not put it down and read it in less than three days. Fast foward to present day I find it difficult to get it out of my mind anytime I listen to the news As a Christian and lover of history I think The Illuminati covers the gammet of good story telling, history, and suspense.

This book is ridiculous. The bad guys are laughable. According to Burkett, all liberals are fanatic anti-Christian, foul-mouthed, coke snorting homosexuals, who want to harvest organs from babies. The writing is incompetent and doesn't seem to have been edited.

I absolutely loved this book. You cannot go wrong by purchasing it. This is one book that I put back on my shelf to keep to loan out to friends and family. That's how impressed I was with this author and his work!!
