I have to disagree with a previously stated opinion. I was absolutely engulfed in this book. I finished it in a day because the authors so brilliantly compiled this book that I could not find one place that would make it easy to take a dinner break! I didn't know it was even possible to have a book experience this amazing. Because it was not a movie, my mind painted all the pictures, so it was one crazy ride! this book gets an A+.

I think this was a fantastic book. Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti combined their amazingly talanted minds and they deliverd a MIND BLOWING result. I was left amazed at how they pulled it off, it was beyond my wildest dreams! As far as it exhibiting 'pure evil', yes it boldly dealt with good vs. evil, but by the end there had been an epic confrontation between both and good prevails (not really a spoiler). If anything, it is quite thought provoking.

I do not understand why a Christian publisher would publish this book. It exhibits pure evil and there is no redemption in it. I read it because I have been a Peretti fan in the past. This is a horror novel without relief. Don't buy it.
