i bought 80 bibles to take to Uganda
I gave one to each of my team members (18)
I preached on Luke 15. One of my team came up to me after the service to show me that half ofmthe gospel of Luke was missing.
I have to wonder how much more is missing...

the nkjv is a great contemporary translation of the Bible and my parishioners and i use it to help us in our daily studies and in our corporate worship. the presentation of this particular printing is attractive and easy to use.

Several years ago, we bought several NKJV pew Bibles and have been happy with them. We needed some new Bibles for our growing family, and so purchased 6 of these. Unfortunately, we will be returning them.
The font size is incredibly small. According to staff feedback on a customer question, it's only 7 pt font. Regardless, it's noticeably smaller than in the past. I *cannot* read the Bible if it's set on my lap, and it's not even comfortable when it's on the desk in front of me. It is just too small.
The ironic thing is that the new version is not in anyway a smaller book than the old one. There is just more white space, but the words are too small for that to be of much help.

The Bibles we purchased have been great for the people in this church. they seem to be using them on a regular basis. The only complaint I have heard is that they wish the print was bigger.
