Outstanding. A wonderful story of true, pure love. It touched my life in so many ways. It brought so many emotions to the surface. I cried at times and then laughed at other times. I have always loved dogs in a very special way. They give unconditional love, and they are always wanting to please. I enjoyed this book immensely and would recommend it to all.
I really enjoyed this book. Great story - both entertaining as well as educating....but...not real sure why it qualifiers as a "Christian" item. The mere mention of "God" does not a "Christian-Book" make. However aside from drinking episodes and implied non-marital sex between two of the main characters, followed by a "one-nighter that didn't mean anything", it was an interesting treatise on the subject of service dogs and the bond forged between them and their people. Can't really call it a Christian-Fictional work though. Seems a bit more like a tamer secular book.
This from a Christian publisher? Four letter words, drinking, fornication, drunkenness (and these never identified as a sin) in a novel marketed to Christian readers? I'm appalled at the publisher - you can just throw a handful of sentences about God in a book and claim it is Christian!
