I wanted a slim bible that woul easily fit in my purse without causing excessive bulk. I have a toddler and all of his belongings to carry - I did not want to lug around my large study bible anymore. I had been using a bible app on my phone, but it would not always work and I missed underlining passages. Digital highlight is just not the same thing. Overall, this bible is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight, durable and has a lovely design. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to slim down what they carry!

Wonderful Bible. I purchased this Bible for my 19 year old Son who is into anything Camo as a Birthday Present, and liked it so much, I purchased the Compact Edition for myself to carry in my pocket for daily reading in the field. Wonderful product for the man or boy who loves the outdoors feeling.

I purchased this Bible for my husband and he loves it. The text is a little small, but readable. It really is a lot slimmer than our regular Bible and he says it makes it easier to hold and read.
Great product, that I highly recommend. I love that there is a Bible in Mossy Oak :)

I bought this bible for my granddaughter and had it imprinted with her name. The pages are extremely thin. I am afraid they will rip out when the page is turned. It is difficult to read because you can see the print from the page behind. It says 8 font, but it looks much smaller than that to me. It might be OK for a teen, but I would sure not recommend this for an adult. Also the imprint with her name on the front is very small and hard to see. I am disappointed in this, but with the imprint it is not returnable. I hope my granddaughter will be OK with it. I would not recommend this. I wish I had spent a little more and gotten something of higher quality.

This is a nice bible. In my opinion, the cover is what I didn't like. We exchanged it twice and eventually returned it. Unfortunately, the cover is different from the picture in the online catalog. It's blank on the computer. I called customer service and their computer showed a blank cover also. HOLY BIBLE was inscribed on the bibles in gold, which is not a bad thing. We actually wanted a blank cover, and both bibles weren't blank. This particular black bible cover didn't look right to me. Otherwise, this bible was a good deal.

This is a top quality Bible in every way. I am still trying to fathom how such a quality Bible can be obtained for such a low price.
Also, after using a few of the newer translations, I have found that the NKJV contains the best of both - - - the poetic beauty of the KJV, and today's language for clarity. Thank you CBD.

This Bible is beautiful with a leather cover and gold edged pages. It is also practical as it is very thin and easy to slip in a bag. The one down side of the thinness is that the individual pages are very thin, but they still seem fairly sturdy, just wouldn't highlight or underline anything. The front has pages for writing family events and dates. Overall, this Bible makes a great gift for a family Bible or individual everyday use.

Perfect size for church or bible study! Purchased for my husband and had it engraved and it looked amazing! The "read your Bible in a year" plan is wonderful and very accomodating for my husbands busy schedule! Buying another one for my niece's birthday this March!
I ordered it on Thrusday and had free ground shipping which was suppose to take 1-2 weeks and was pleasantly surprised when it was sitting on my doorstep Monday afternoon. 4 days EVEN with the personalizing!!
