Thomas Nelson Elyon, The Lost Books #6

Darsal is trying to love the Horde as Elyon asked her to, but she's torn between this new mission and her original one... especially now that Johnis and Silvie no longer seem to be on her side. The Chosen Ones are facing their greatest threat--extinction--and only by Elyon's grace will they survive to tell the tale.

This is not my kind of book at all, however, I have not been able to put this book nor the rest of the series down. Ted Dekker has a way in all of his books (that I have read so far) of holding you until you final find out how the story is going to end. GREAT WRITER..

The ending was horrible. He did not clean up issues he posed in the series throughout. He reached high in terms of making the story climatic, regarding the general, but that conversion was no more exciting than the conversion of the other three characters. He (Dekker) did not deliver on the fate of the Circle, Horde, or even the Shatikiri? Which in my opinion was more relevant. He left us with an unnecessary cliffhanger. Also, why mention the destruction of Alucard if you are not going to address it. Is the plan to milk us for money with books written like this? I am a fan, but not of this type.
