This bible was just what I wanted for bringing with me to bible study and church - much more convenient than my very large, beloved study bible.
The pages are very thin so as to be such a slim volume, and print is quite small, but for young eyes it is no problem. For a comparison, the print is a size or two smaller than a Gideon New Testament, and the Gideon NT is roughly two thirds the thickness of the NKJV Ultraslim.
While it has a fair amount of cross references and alternate translations (notes), there simply is not room for explanatory notes (as I expected, given its size). However, it boasts an impressive concordance for its size - 52 pages! Plus 8 pages of maps in the back.
The cover is actually a rich butterscotch tone, not the duller camel in the picture of the product
