GCCanadaAge: 18-24Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5There's just something unique about this author!October 12, 2012GCCanadaAge: 18-24Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Oh, Jenny, first off, you've got so much talent in what you do! *Sigh* Seriously.
I remember the first time I picked up a novel by this author. Everyone was mentioning how funny it was so I was thinking it'd be a chick-lit type of story.
Boy, oh boy was I wrong.
And even now, three books later I can truly say that Jenny's talent doesn't fail to amaze me. Once again.
There's no doubt about it, this book is funny or more like hilarious! But Jenny also knows how to involve (in one work) very profound lessons, relatable characters, an admirable style of writing and overall a very-well thought conception behind the story.
The romance in this is the white-hot kind that will have readers fanning themselves if they read in the middle of the night. The hero Connor is a tall, tender-hearted, funny guy who almost never loses his cool. Maggie has the heart of lioness (she's a very lovely character) and I have no doubt that you'll enjoy witnessing the depth of her beauty unravel in the story as she learns to step out in faith.
What an adventure! What a writer!
I was left wanting nothing more and nothing less. And even now I am recalling passages in the story I'd like to re-read.
I highly recommend her! -
rack97Geneseo, ILAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This book was awesome!!March 14, 2011rack97Geneseo, ILAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Jeeny B. Jones is an awesome writer! She has the ability to write a book that the reader feels like they are a part of. I felt like I could relate to everyone of the characters and I felt like I was right there beside them going through things just as they were.
This book deal with lots of issues that sometimes we as Christians tend to take a backseat approach to. That is not what God wants us to do and this book shows how one woman was able to deal with her life issues and became closer to God.
Awsome book! -

Lisa5 Stars Out Of 5Really Great Book!February 4, 2011LisaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I think I found a new favorite author! This book is quite funny with subtle wit and really deals with the issues that we all have with fear in one way or another. The author keeps the book very interesting and I looked forward to my time when I got to sit down and read it! Not every book is like that, by the way, so the author did a great job. You'll enjoy it!

Rambling Reader5 Stars Out Of 5Just Between You and Me: This One's A Page-Turner!January 19, 2011Rambling ReaderQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The cover of Just Between You and Me notes that it is "A novel of losing fear and finding God." That statement tidily sums up the main premise of the story, which teaches readers important lessons about life and faith, while maintaining a refreshing since of realism and humor. I generally gravitate to the historical Christian fiction genre because I often find modern fiction unrelatable and at times too heavy on sarcasm and too light on inspiration. Although Just Between You and Me contains sarcastic banter between the characters, I found it enjoyable and engaging. I immediately connected with the main character Maggie. Since the story is written in first person, I found it easy to understand Maggie's fears, struggles, and personality quirks.
Siri Mitchell's The Cubicle Next Door is responsible for drawing me into modern Christian fiction, and Jenny B. Jones' novels Just Between You and Me and Save the Date have just earned spots right next door in my book collection. Just Between You and Me is a novel that I highly recommend to fellow readers, and I am adding Jenny B. Jones to my favorite author list right now...
