I bought this as a study Bible and it is perfect for that. It provides life application notes that I can relate to. I know he used to be pentecostal and turned Baptist so his notes are particularly beneficial to me now.

Charles Stanley is perhaps the best Bible teacher of our time. In
this Bible he presents God's Word in a way we can apply it to our

I was disappointed that the description did not say anything about the tan insert into the leather on the cover.

This is the third or fourth Charles Stanley Life Principles Bible we have gotten for others. It is a great learning Bible and helps those to find the principles needed to join the Lord. Charles Stanley is the father figure who helps explain the Word. Enjoy!

Just got this Bible. I use the ESV Study Bible, but the Life Principles are a nice compliment in my study/devotion time. Had the hardcover and returned it because the paper was cheap. This is a better quality Bible.

I purchased this Bible for my high school grandson. The Life Principles by Charles Stanley are great for all believers. I am very pleased with the bonded leather cover. It was appealling to the teenager. It looks very sturdy and will be able to withstand much use.

For some crazy reason, I thought the bible cover was exactly like the front of the cover that is shown but in navy blue. I was disappointed to find out that the navy blue leather bible had a light brown stripe in the middle of it. The description of the bible is not what I thought that I was receiving. Overall, the bible is full of valuable information.
