An excellent overview of all of scripture as the revelation of Christ. Several other books now address this theme more fully, but as an introductory text, this book is highly recommended!

This is an outstanding book!! I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in an introduction to the "completeness" of the Bible message. The discussions of how threads of Christ's salvation begin and run through the Old Testament are captivating in themselves but also contribute to more edifying daily Bible reading.

Clowney helps to bring the reader to a better understanding of how the Old Testament, in it's progress to the cross, points us to cross and Christ who hung on it. This is a great book for any believer wishing to see the continuity between the Old Testament and the New Testament and how the two are truly one book with a coherent story line from bonded leather cover to bonded leather cover. Very readable.
