Mary was visited by the angel, Gabriel, who announces to her in a blinding light that she will give birth to a son, Jesus, who will be the son of God - an event that will change the course of humanity forever. In this DVD the life of Mary is beautifully and dramatically told, featuring an incredible cast, with nothing left out from the Gospels. Approx. 2 hours.

This is obviously a Catholic movie. There was too much emphasis on Mary and she paraded around like she was different than the rest. I believe Mary was a very humble woman and did not receive the attention that she did in this movie. For a great movie on the life of Christ get "Magdalena Released From Shame" it is about Jesus more than about Mary

We all enjoyed this. Mary's perspective. I only wish this had been expanded, had been given 8 hours, instead just 2 hours. Someone ought to make an expanded Mary of Nazareth. I for one would buy it, as would my family members.

A wonderful movie that is completely accurate to the Biblical account of Jesus's life. Mary is portrayed as a sweet, gentle, and humble woman... the way she is portrayed in the Bible. Though I don't know his name, I think the actor who plays Jesus does an excellent job as well. A good movie to buy if you want to learn more about the life of Jesus's mother, Mary.
