The fruit of 20 years of scholarship by one of evangelical Christianity's most prominent theologians. Rooted in the tradition of Reformation theology, this accessible 2-in-1 volume explores the implications of a broad-based evangelicalism and lays the foundation for a fruitful dialogue with other believers who seek to present a unified Christian witness to a secularized culture. 580 pages, hardcover from Hendrickson.

A must for every evangelical to understand what and why they believe and a good resource for mainline believers to understand some of the important parts of faith.

Not as conservative as I had hoped, but for a Seminary class, it is good to consider other perspectives. I would not base my theology on Bloesch's work, but I do find it useful to challenge me on why I believe what I believe.
