have not use it much yet but from what i've seen it is the right bible for me. each person knows what they needs in a bible it took me some searching on the CBD site and making a call or two to customer service, but i got just what i wanted at a good price

I was satisfied with this Bible until I turned to one of the maps in the back and discovered the publisher was using the "new" terminology Common Era. I'm a firm believer in using the terms B.C. and A.D. when referencing time in any setting. But to use the term Common Era in a Bible is in especially poor taste (and judgement). I'll not buy another book from HENDERICKSON PUBLISHERS.

My little sister wanted a new Bible. She insisted on paying for her own, so we settled on this one because of the great price. (The ratings are hers)

Texas Dad was correct in saying that by "'imitation leather' they really mean paper board like product pressed to look like leather," but she is completely satisfied with her product.

It actually has 8 maps instead of the 3 mentioned.
Aside from Bible promises of His love and freedom, it also includes a type of reading guide for different situations in your life. (His promises when you feel guilty, despair, etc...)

I bought these bibles so that my family of six might all have a copy of the KJV (which is what is primarily used at our new church) at an affordable price. They are "affordable" but buyer beware that by "imitation leather" they really mean paper board like product pressed to look like leather. They are stiff opening and feel like they will fall apart in a few months.

The KJV Bibles have a good imitation leather appearance. I like the inside fly page "Presented" and its four subdivisions.
The size of the print is easy to read, a big plus. I wish there were a summary statement at the beginning of each book. I
like the subheadings.

I did not like the font in this Bible. I prefer the one in my "Holman" Super Giant Print, and in my "Nelson" Giant Print; easier to read. Otherwise the Bible was good. The quality good, and a very good price.
