This is a great tool for studying the Bible. It is very quick to download to a p.c. and simple to put on an ipod or mp3 player.

Loved the product. There is nothing like being able to listen to the spoken "Word" where ever you go. I guess there really are some awesome benefits of technology.

Sadly, Mr. Johnston reads way too fast for my brain. He does not even pause to take a breather between chapters, but just keeps on barreling ahead full speed. (Not that he doesn't read "well," he simply reads TOO FAST.) Like, what's the hurry, brother? I bought his KJV and NKJV audio Bibles (the NKJV was supposed to be a "slower" version of his), but I cannot listen to either. It's exhausting to try to keep up. (Maybe Mr. Johnston should make an "A.D.D. slow-brain version." Disappointed.

I can't get to work on anything but my computer. I bought three for Christmas presents but only one has a computer. I decided to try one and see what it was. I can't say enough good things about it. In fact I am going to give it to my girlfriend for her birthday instead of Christmas

I was surprised that this product came with a feature that has the KJV Bible text that can be read in Adobe Reader and a word (text) search feature... I've listened to Stephen Johnston narration of the KJV before with and without music in the background. I prefer the music in the background. But the dramatized version didn't appeal to me due to the fact that the characters voices didn't sound appropriate for the characters voice (such as Adam's voice.) That is why I chose to try this version instead. I do like it, but if it did have "emphasis" like the customer from Ireland commented on, it would be even better...

The only thing that that is good about this audio Bible is the price. The reading is generally far too fast and there is no time to let the Word sink in. I believe that the Scriptures should be read with emphasis and feeling so that the words come alive for the listener. Not recommended.

Nice resonant voice, clear enunciation. Good for listening to the Word while driving if you have a later model auto w/MP3 player (don't have one: use Sandisk solid-state player). Don't much care for the "scholars'?" opinions offered at beginning of each chapter. The Bible is accurate history, but more importantly God's Word. Who cares what the scholars' opinions are? I have 3 degrees but didn't get much out of the Word until I accepted it as God's Holy unerring Word. Are you listening scholars?
