Hendrickson Publishers Why Do People Suffer?

Why does a God of love allow such evil in the world? Did God make evil? What sort of God would create a world of pain and suffering? Why doesn't he do something to help? It's questions such as these that make believing in God so difficult for many people. Why Do People Suffer? addresses these questions with sensitivity and candor, helping you to think through the issues and offering hope in a God who understands and shares in your suffering.

This book is wonderful : it answers every single question anybody can have regarding pain, hurt, suffering of others or of our own. The design is visually attractive and the whole book is user friendly : you can read it from page to page or use it as a reference book. Mature christians, new christians, seekers & unbelievers will like it. Too good to be true !

This is the best book I have found on this subject. In a firm but gentle way it discusses the fact of evil in the world (which we all must deal with), and that bad things happen to each of us. Using choice scriptures, it points the way to God's love for our answers. I have given copies of it as gifts, to several people. They have all thanked me profusely. Definitely a "keeper" and a book to share.
