Review 1 for The UBS Greek New Testament: Reader's Edition with Textual Notes
Date:September 12, 2011
Though I welcome this new edition, I am somewhat disappointed. I thought the original purpose of the reader was to help one gain proficiency with the Greek text. I feel, however, the addition of the textual notes will only distract a person with having to now worry about the differences between the major Greek manuscripts. That concern comes later; not when one is trying to feel comfortable reading the Greek text.

Review 2 for The UBS Greek New Testament: Reader's Edition with Textual Notes

This work is exceptional. It is a great tool for learning the Greek NT. I have the previous edition and decided to buy this update for the convenience of having the OT references in the margin; something that the previous version lacked. The text is clear with good line spacing, making the reading process quite a pleasure. The overall production quality is very, very good; but not quite as crisp as the earlier edition. I was surprised to find that this German Bible Society product is now being printed in China. Overall, an excellent investment that will easily justify its cost.
