The best edition of a UBS Readers Greek Testament I have found. The soft leather is the best cover I have ever had on a Greek testament. I wish the textual notes were more extensive, but this is a reader's edition, so I don't mind. Makes for excellent practice in rapid reading the Greek New Testament.

The bridge between greek class and being able to make good use of the GNT is lots and lots of reading. This is also the nearly impossible part. I won't say that some additional resouces would not be helpful but you can get the job done with this book alone. I appreciate the limited apparatus which is not in my earlier edition. Also the soft cover makes it nice for lap reading and to me is worth the extra bucks. This is a far better choice than the Zondervan or the Perchbacher, both of which I have struggled through. You will never "outgrow" it.

This is the most complete Reader's Greek NT available to date. I don't know how it could be improved upon (other than using a genuine leather cover). The content is great. It gives you not only the definition of the Greek words, but also Greek phrases are explained. I love this book. I think it is impossible to improve it so it will never become obsolete or superseded.
The resources available to the Greek student today are just absolutely wonderful.

I'm in the process of learning Greek, so don't look to this review for thoughts regarding that or the textual critical notes. What I will say is this: the product is beautiful. The flexisoft is nice and thick, the pages aren't too thin, and the construction seems very sound. The notes with words that occur less frequently take up on average about half the page. The text is a good size and very readable. There's an abbreviations list in the front (defines parsing abbreviations like aor, plpf, sup, etc.), a list of manuscripts referenced w/ a short description of the contents and date, and a dictionary in the back for the more frequent words. Very satisfied. I thought the price was a bit steep, but it literally just came out (I preordered) so I guess that is to be expected.
