I can read it and hear the words at the same time so I can learn how to pronounce the names or places in the bible. This Bible DVD was the NASB version. I have a NIV bible and my dad told me he loves his NAS bible so I decided I would get the NASB dvd. I had a KJV bible on dvd which was like shakespear for me. So I wanted something a little simpler. I like the trivial game that they have on the bonus DVD. You can play with up to four people. It was fun. I love watching this DVD. I don't read that fast because I always get destracted so it helps me read alot quicker and learn pronounciations of names and places. I didn't like a part in Genisis though, they gave just a little to much detail, with lot and his daughters. If you have read that story. but the rest of it wasn't like that. It worked great in my dvd player. It was a good product.

If you like to learn using audio and video at the same time then this is for you. Each verse section is printed on the screen at the same time that the audio for that verse is dubbed over. I would recommend this to anyone, and what a great price for a treasure like this!

I have enjoyed the NIV audio Bible but always wanted it in NASB and am delighted with this and the quality. The first DVD that came was damaged in transit but CBD replaced it. Video Bible of course does not mean an actors' reenactment; the scenes are the biblical text. But for me this is perfect, just what I needed. I can listen when I exercise, etc., and listen to the Bible straight. The reading is good.

The NASB video Bible is very good. I do wish they had included some quiet background music as sometimes I get sleepy listening to the quiet voice alone. It helps to hear someone pronounce names that are difficult for me to say.

I normally use the KJV but this was a welcome to my library. It sounds good and you can read along as you listen. I recommend this product since it makes it easy to study the Bible.
