I like that the DVD is A NKJV, I have used this version for many years.
I have a ladyfriend who has a hard time reading so this is perfect for her, I ordered the DV for her and gave her a NKJV Bible to help her to use with the DVD. I have 5 more friends and family who ordered the DVD also.
It is good to have and understand the bible more clearly.

THE NARRATED BY STEPHEN JOHNSON IS GREAT ! HOWEVER, THE BACKGROUND SOUNDS , AND ESPECIALLY THE MUTLI-VOICES WAS EXTREMELY DISTRACTING ! THE VOICE OF JESUS AND JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS HIGH-PITCH AND NOT MANLY. OTHER THEN THE VOICES , ITS AMAZING ! I LISTEN TO IT 4-6 HRS 24/7 DAYS A WEEK . I WANT TO BUY MORE FOR MY 13 , 11-YRS OLD SON & DAUGHTER IF IT DOESNT HAVE ANY MULTI-VOICES. I EVEN LISTEN WHILE SLEEPING, I AM SPIRITUALLY STRONGER AND CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE SCRIPTURES ON THE TV SCREEN EVEN I HAVE POOR VISION. GREAT WAY TO COVER THE BIBLE WHILE WORKING, ETC...

I bought this for my son, who has challenges with reading, and loves to have things read to him. With this video version, there are not the distractions of moving pictures during the course of reading, so he can focus on the words as they are read to him. He really likes this, and can read the Bible any time he wants to and get the audio reinforcement to help him with words he doesn't know. The only issue we've found is that for a few of the Trivia game's answers, the actual correct answer is scored as incorrect (these are mostly "Elijah" questions). It's not a huge deal, because we know the correct answer, but if you've got someone who is competitive and expects the correct answer to be scored correctly, it might be an issue. Overall, a tremendous value for the price!
