Often times, unbelievers will not even listen to religious discussions because they are firm in their mindset, whatever it may be. In these cases we need more than intellectual expertise--we need an engaging approach. Dan Story's newest book is a study on how to apply apologetics easily and effectively for real people. He outlines seven important tactics: 1.How to communicate in such a way to ensure that we get a fair hearing. 2.How to respond to misconceptions and challenges concerning Christianity. 3.How to identify obstacles to faith as they surface during discussions. 4.How to challenge non-Christian worldviews and beliefs. 5.How to reason persuasively and logically. 6.How to direct the conversation in evangelistic discussions. 7.How to establish a point of contact as a springboard.

This is a very interesting book for those who seek to share their Christian faith with those that do not have an open mind about it. In the very first chapter alone Story sets the standard for personal evangelism....we don't engage in battle to win the argument, we create opportunities where the Holy Spirit can do His work on the heart of the person we are trying to reach. I found this book, like other apologetic books by Dan Story, to be quite well written and helpful for doing any king of personal evangelism. Highly recommended!!
