We just got this Blu-Ray and watched it Friday. It was very worthwhile and touching watching as a family. Story: A high ranking officer in the Roman Empire becomes a Christian along with his slave and lover. The officer and his lover become choosen to follow Christ and face many trials and threats of life. Why to buy: It is a touching story of people who are struck by the Saviors love and respond in different ways. Its both romantic and action oriented. Its very unusual for Hollywood to put so much emotion and desire to follow Christ in any of their movies as you find in this movie. The quality of the Blu-Ray is very good. It's surprising such good quality can come from a movie made in 1953. We have a 52" TV (Samsung LN52A580) and the quality was sharp and clear. The audio was also very high quality. Even though it was not 5.1 surround sound the sound is excellent with bass sounds that reverberate strongly and a great orchestra.Rating: Its probably a 4.5 because its not as good as the movie Fireproof for example.
