This purchase was for a 4th grade boy, coming to cursive later in the game. He had no desire at 2nd or 3rd grade to hunker down and slay the cursive dragon, as it were. As a veteran homeschooler of boys, I didn't stress on that, but, when the second half of 4th grade hit, I introduced the subject again, using the the "D"book. I wanted something easy, non-threatening and thorough. This book fit the bill. Between that, and the eventual readiness of my 9/10 yr old, he hit the ground running with cursive. He finished the first book in 3 mos and now on the second and doing quite well. We will continue to practice/master cursive using this series. If you're looking for a non-babyish, thorough, clear and concise lesson in cursive, this is the book for you.

Great for daily exercises and handwriting practice. The pages offer ample room for those still trying to learn spacing. Would definitely recommend this workbook.
