Life principles from the Old Testament. One in a series of five books designed to provide a personal look at the lives of key characters found in the Bible. The theme "Following God" is one that emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with God, living a life totally surrounded to His leading. Examples are given of those who did not follow His direction. This Bible study is designed in an interactive format, in which questions are provided within each lesson for study application, incorporating important Scriptural points of interest. Other features include a look at the characters mentioned, as well as a historical perspective about the time when these characters lived.

My womens small group is doing this study together and we have had a great time and learned alot. I bought three books that were cheaper on this site than in the store. When I got the books they were the updated version. (The cover on the front was updated, like the one in the store) I recieved my order one day ahead of schedule. Great book, great price, great fun!

I'm very impressed with the author team being able through selected Scripture citations to bring out the most important aspects of the OT patriarchs. Their format requiring daily immersion in the Scriptures also helps my personal discipline to continually stay focused on a most important part of my Christian walk (reminds me of the church sign "Daily Bible reading prevents truth decay"). I highly recommend this series for either personal or small group study, based on my initial exposure to this team's work in "Following God: Life Principles From the Old Testament"

We are studing this book on Wednesday nights as our Bible Study. I am really enjoying learning more about our relationship with God, and what it means in today's world. That the consequence are the same today as then.

This is the second study my husband and I have done. We also did Worship from the Tabernacle. I buy two books and we do this together each morning. They are very informative. We look forward to doing them each morning.
