I LOVED this book! I have become a big Florence Littauer fan, but this book of hers is one of my favorites. So much so, that I've decided to start giving it as a baby shower gift as the info she shares is SO insightful and helpful. I love how she helps you identify your temperament as well as your child's. She then goes on to teach you what your child is going to need from you to thrive, identifying what things will be easy for you to do and what things are going to take more intentional effort as they won't come as naturally. It helped me "get things" about my kids that I was missing before and helped me "die to myself" in areas they needed. Excellent~ Can't recommend it highly enough.

Excellent book! Very pro-active in helping parents understand their children from their particular perspective and how to properly communicate with them. Highly recommended!
