Zondervan True Light, Slightly Imperfect

On so many chilling levels The "what if" question arises as a global catastrophe affects the residents of Oak Hollow. They now have had to deal without electricity for eight months and the deep winter nights have set in. Tension mounts when a young man is murdered. Is Mark Green the killer? The darkness from the blackout also reveals the darkness in human hearts as the survival of the fittest gets more intense.

Excellent series that I didn't want to put down. I fell in love with the characters and wish there could have been more than 4 books in this series!

I enjoyed this whole series. I disagree with the others that didn't like it because it was "heavy". That is the whole intent of this series. It makes you think into the "what if" and shines a very telling light on how most people would react in this situation. It shows through the characters that even though others might act this way, you need to stand by your morals and continue to spread the word of God. It is an "easy" read in that it is not hard to follow the charactors, but very thought proviking.

I was completely disappointed in this entire series. It started out OK in the first book, but rapidly went downhill. I read the 2nd one, skimmed thru the 3rd & last. Maybe if it had been cut and kept in 1-2 books, might have been a more enjoyable read. I usually love her books, but not this series.

A difficult read at times because of the subject matter - even depressing at times, but all ends well - very heavy theme.
