I purchased this first set of books to donate to our church library for the 8-12-yr-old age group. But before I purchased any additional sets, I wanted to read them myself to see what they were like. They were well-written, being easy to follow & read. I especially liked the books about Amy Carmichael and Gladys Alyward. These books show that if you let God lead you, he will also protect and provide for you. I will definitely order each set, but will first read them myself.

Each of the five books are an enjoyable, easy read. The calling of these these indiviauals is evident in their daily living and the trials that they had to endure capture the readers attention and you will find yourself reading chapter anfter chapter until finished.Glayds Aylward was especially rewarding and I gave the book to our youth pastor to read. I think it would be a great book for a youth group to read as a project.
