Christian Resources Beware of False Prophets: The Case Against Charles G. Finney DVD

For years Charles G. Finney has gotten a free ride from evangelical preachers and churches for various reasons, but mostly because few had ever taken the time to read his obtuse books or even try to understand his theology. Many supposedly came to Christ under him, and that was enough to convince the multitudes that he must be sound and Biblical.

But now a number of writers and theologians are opening the door to his theology, and many are shocked to see what he truly believed - Charles G. Finney was clearly and undeniably a heretic---he did not preach nor teach the true gospel, as set forth in the Scriptures. In fact it is not an exaggeration to say that he was one of the greatest heretic's of church history! And this is why the current work by Jerry Johnson and ApologeticsGroup.com is so valuable---it exposes the reality of Finney's false and damnable theology.

They have cut and pasted Charles Finney's teachings. You could do this to anyone and make them sound like the anti-christ. This is so sad. These are hyper-Calvinist - angry over Finney's assault on their false doctrine - such as "limited atonement." Also, they are extremely dishonest in picking and choosing "mis-quotes". They should be ashamed - but they won't be. No one in our generation - with the exception of Billy Graham - is 100th the soul-winner that Finney was.

I believe Charles Finney Was a true minister, doesnt mean I agree with everything he taught or belived ,,He did teach faith. If Charles Finney is a false prophet then so is DL Moody,,but since he is a baptist you probably want list him,,I dont think he was either,,,Whos next on your list..? , John Wesley, David Wilkerson...how many more true ministers will you attack while the lost are dying without Jesus..Why is it Christians shoot there wounded or fight so much amongst themselves..when we should come together to worship our lord..Romans 8:1..why then do we condemn someone who we may disagree with on doctrine..
you dont have to believe once saved always saved to be a true Christian..,,By this they will know you are my disciples Jesus Said...If YOu have love one for another

A few years ago I was challenged by a friend to read the Memoirs of Charles Finney. Over the next three weeks I learned that this man neither taught nor believed in justification by faith alone. In fact, throughout his Memoirs he is quite open about his denial of all the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith. It is a shame people do not open there eyes and read him (in context) in his own words.
Well, Jerry Johnson and NiceneCouncil.com have now made it easier for you. This documentary, which is quite entertaining as well as informative, explains with a myriad of documentation that Charles Finney meets all the qualifications of a false prophet. Well done my friends!
