Frontline Standing With Israel: Why Christians Support Israel

Focusing on a subject that has been covered by various national media, including the Wall Street Journal, 60 Minutes, and Nightline, Standing With Israel goes beyond politics to:

  • Profile leading Christian Zionists and detail the views and motives that drive their politics.
  • Spotlight Jews who have been at the forefront of forming a budding alliance with Israels Christian allies.
  • Explain why so many American Jews are deeply uncomfortable with this outpouring of Christian support.

  • Unlike other books on the subject, Standing With Israel has broad appeal to three significant groups of potential readers: more than 40 million Christian Zionists, thousands of Christians who want to understand Christian Zionism, and millions of Jews. Standing With Israel will help bring Jews and Christians together.

David Brog gives an excellent historical understanding of the
relationship between Jews and Christians. In the beginning, we as Christians did not understand that God has always had a plan for the people of God and for the nation of Israel today. This book is a must read and valuable tool for any Christian or Jewish friend to have in their library. The information may change your worldview and your life! I highly recommend it to anyone.

I cannot say whether I agree with Dispensationalism or everything the author says, however having read the book in full, I can say that I believe it to be a balanced explanation of Christian Zionism. It is interesting that the author, David Brog, is not a Christian. He states in his preface that he is a Jew; not a Messianic Jew or a Jew for Jesus. He goes on to say that he does not believe that the Messiah has ever appeared on Earth. Nor is he an alienated or self-hating Jew. He embraces his Jewish faith. I have not read any opposing books, so I can only go on what Brog says in this book. Anyone interested in learning about Christian Zionism should read this book.

This is by far one of the most significant books I have ever read... an absolute read for any person interested in Christian/Judeo history. If not interested, you'll change and be so blown away that you can't put it down!

A wonderfully researched book on the history of antisemitism within the church, and how evangelical Christians are now Israel's friend and ally. Written by an influential scholarly religious Jew. A must for Jews and Christians to read.
