A must read for every single female desiring to live a life pleasing unto God. This book ministered to every area of my life, and will do the same for you. Once you pick it up you will not be able to put it down. So share with other sisters in your life as it was shared with me by my sis. Thank you Sheila for passing it on and Thanks to the author for giving all single females hope. Highly suggested for a single female book club.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. It really showed how we as woman need to focus more on God and let him work out everything. It also showed that there are still decent God-fearing men in the world. I think it also showed that a friendship between two woman can exist without have all the drama and jealousy. I have also read Zora's cry. I can't wait for Mrs. McCollors next book. I am sure it will be just as good as the others.

A Heart of Devotion is a compelling story of the many spiritual battles women face today in a world full of temptation. At first I thought the women's spiritual walks were a bit too good to be true, that they were unbelievably faithful to God. Then the hard times came and their true hearts were revealed. Everyone is weak and anyone can be broken. That was the theme of A Heart of Devotion, and I loved it. I loved getting to know the women in the story. I found the characters to be ultimately very real, and in the end, very honest--especially the men. The author did a great job developing the different characters, especially Tyson and Xavier. In the end, God worked everything for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. That's the story of Anisha and Sherri. It's a must read for anyone needing encouragement. It spoke to me in so many ways. This is a spiritually powerful book and I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed reading A Heart of Devotion so much, that I suggested it for my book club's next read. I am looking forward to reading Zora's Cry next.
