Great story of personal triumph over some really hard circumstances. Too bad it is peppered with mild profanity, sensual innuendos and literary descriptions that send ones mind on thoughts that are not appropriate for people who desire to live godly, pure lives. Sure the scenarios are true to life and I am no prude. I am a veteran and was saved from a lifestyle that understands exactly what the author is saying. However, I am a new creature and the old things have passed away. I do not need to be reminded under the guise of a good story of those things I left behind. The story could have been written without those things. I would not recommend this to anyone striving to keep his way pure (Ps 119:9-11). This audio book/book is the leaven that spoils the whole loaf and desensitizes us to accepting the ways of the world.
