Barbour Publishing Mountaineer Dreams

Desperate times challenge the deepest faith in historic West Virginia. The Civil War puts Nancy Logan's brother and a certain Quaker doctor in danger. In 1916, Neil McCoy advertises for a bride to please his dying grandmother. And during World War II, Lucy Bland's yard is used for training soldiers---led by a handsome captain. 352 pages, softcover from Barbour.

This book had 3 stories from 3 different eras. I loved the the history of West Virginia in these different eras.
This book told of characters who accepted Christ as their Savior. That in it's self is always a plus in any book to read about.
Good wholesome book. There were tears of sorrow then of joy.

These stories take place in West Virginia. One during the Civil War, one around 1916 and the last one during World War II. All are well written. Good clean stories.
