Truth In Action The Greatest Story Ever Told (TIA Version)
Oursler's account of Jesus' life - The Greatest Story Ever Told - is a Christian classic (made into a movie in 1965) and was instrumental in bringing Dr. Kennedy to a saving faith in 1954, as he relates in an opening letter. This book about the greatest life ever lived, from incarnation to resurrection - is powerfully but simply written and set against an accurate historical background. It would serve as an excellent non-threatening way to introduce the Gospel to those who aren't yet willing to tackle the New Testament.

The book, THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, by Fulton Oursler, is probably one of the best books I have ever read. As a young woman reading even the NEW Testament was not the easiest thing I had ever done. Although it had been on my “to do” list, for years, it just never happened. That’s saying a lot for a person who had been accused of always having her nose in a book.
Now I find I was keeping good company. I was pleased to learn, recently, that this book affected Dr. D. James Kennedy and I in much the same way. Reading this book was instrumental in Dr. Kennedy’s lengthy ministry at Coral Ridge Ministries in South Florida.
No this is not a reference book, but a fictional account of the life of Christ. When I received this book, I read it from cover to cover in one day.

I loved this book. It was written years ago, but it makes the life of Jesus come to life.
