I've been reading the Bible in it's entirety to my boys this year, and I read this book after I read the Old Testament and one chapter of Revelation in the morning (my husband reads the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs at night). So it must be really good for them to want me to read it after I've already read about 3 chapters of the Bible already! It is very evangelical and convicting, with interesting stories. I took off one star because I didn't like 2 of the stories (November 25/26) so I just ripped the page out! It's written by several authors.

I have used both books with my 8 and 9 year old. We do the devotional in the morning before school. What a great way to start our day. The devotional contains stories that they can relate too and some stories they have already experienced in real life. I am hoping that a 3rd book will be printed!

This devotional was bought for an 11 year old. He thinks; "it is pretty good because it is easy to read, and the stories are good."

My son and I loved the first devotional book, and so far believe that this one will be just as good. Great topics and the allegories are very well done to apply scripture to everyday life. Hope they have a 3rd volume.

The stories are common to todays kids and provoke the reader to thoughts pertaining to their own real life experiences. It clearly teaches God's principals in an understandable way. A great tool for teaching precepts to young boys. Wonderful aid for character building. The book is that I hoped it would be.

This is good, but so far I like the first book better. Of course, we have only been reading it since the first of the year and today is only January 21!
