This book has too much information in it for this age range. Our little girl is almost 11 and she didn't like reading book 3 so we couldn't even start this one. I put both books away and will pull them out again in about 6 mo.

While I think this is an excellent book, it still may be a bit mature for some children on the younger end. Especially boys. Consider your child and maybe go through the series a bit slower. I do feel that the series is written in an excellent, well formated way. At times a bit clinical which helps.

I have been a cbd customer for yrs and have come to trust them soooo much, however I would not EVER recommend this book. This entire series is so very highly inappropriate for the recommended age group. What happened to letting our kids be kids? I totally agree that we should be the ones to teach them about their bodies and sex but WOW!!! it really needed to be less detail for each age in this series. I ordered some other books when I ordered this set and the others were MUCH more beneficial for my family.

Perfect for our 13 and 14-yr-old sons. We used the whole 4-book series. I wish I had been exposed to thorough, Biblical teaching like this. The authors do a fantastic job of attempting to bring families together on this topic and open the lines of communication. Highly recommended!

A haven't completely read this book yet as my son is only 5 (almost 6) & has a couple more years before he will be ready to read it with me. From what I have read I have been pleased with the information it shares & how it explains things.

Very tastefully written and the biblical quotes help express God's view as well as your own family values. There are some difficult subjects that must be discussed and this book makes it much easier on the parent.

I think this book will be beneficial in helping my kids see the glory of God's design for not only their physical body but their spiritual well being. I appreciate the infusion of God's truth along with real world examples.

I felt most of the book was good, but part of it went into too much information. Every child from age 11-14 would not be able to handle what the book said about self stimulation and alternative ways to intercourse.

I think this book is completely age appropriate. I think that raising your children telling them about this early helps their decisions to be healthy later in life. The entire series is good. I suggest book #1 to be read to a five year old. Book #2 to be read to a seven year old. Book three to read with your 10 year old, and book #4 for a 12 year old. I love these books and think they are perfect. When you teach your children about sex in this Christian way, it doesn't matter how early. In fact, the earlier the better your relationship with them.

This book is a breath of fresh air! When my oldest daughter reached middle school (she's now 23) good books under this topic were very hard to find. I just shared this with one of our younger children who is in middle school and it was so nice to frame our discussion within the context of what God wants from us anf for us. That's what its all about.

In general I like the way the material was presented and the subjects it covered. I was disappointed though by the fact that the authors after making such good arguments for saving sex for marriage had to put in the statement that if you do choose to have sex you should use birth control. I thought that weakened their argument. I also thought the illustrations were a bit too explicit for an 11 year old, but it just depends on what your family is used to.

This book needs to be completely read by the parents before presented to the children. I felt the need to remove some of the illustrations before reading it as a family to our sons. Instead, we will use human (internal) graphics from our medical books to present the female body. We just do not see the need to show the outside of a fully developed woman's body to children this young. The illustrations need to be seen by children much older. Maybe we are old fashioned but what the eye sees the mind remembers. You be the judge . As for content, the message is right on. We are giving this 2 stars.
