This is a must for any serious Christian that wants to please our Lord and Saviour. Timeless truths by one who taught by the indwelling Holy Spirit. You should always read the daily message at least twice to begin to understand the truth of his understanding of the Christian life.
Also recommend his life story which is remarkable: Oswald Chambers Abandoned to God!

Utmost for His Highest is a great way to spend a few minutes in the morning, during the day, or at night with great devotionals that speak to the heart and applies scripture to life's mountain tops and valleys. You will enjoy the wise words of Chambers's insight on living a life as a follower of Christ Jesus and how to look at things in perspectives which you may not have thought of the first time around. I purchased this to have on hand for a gift, but I will be keeping it and ordering more! I have used this for many years. My current copy was an "updated version" at the time, but Reimann is tops in the field of updating these "ageless" and "priceless" volumes. I also have his revision of Charles Spurgeon.

a wonderful, challenging daily devotional. The modern language version is a must. I've had a copy of this for years and each year the word of God and the daily devotion is fresh with new revelation and challenge for my walk with the Lord. I have read and reread my copy of My Utmost for His Highest for over ten years now. Oswald Chambers surely was a man who listened to the Lord and was an excellent communicator. His insight has lead me to a deeper understanding of God's Word, as it should be applied in my life. I recently purchased two more copies of the book as gifts for others.
