I love this book. It has given me a totally new perspective on prayer. Because the writings in this book are not all from contemporary writers, it does require slower and more thoughtful reading. It's kind of like eating steak - you have to chew on it a while. The teachings are very profound and worth reading repeatedly.

This little booklet is not an easy read for me. I find myself distracted frequently by the BORING sentences. Its like reading a medical journal, you'd have be a Phd to understand some of the jargon. Not at all what I expected.
I made it through the first chapter. I think the author of this chapter tried to use as many large unneccesary words as possible. " Definite exhortation from our Lord to largeness in praying." "Unbounded magnificence and illimitable munificence of prayer? This reads like a college professors notes. Did not like it.

I LOVE this book and have purchased several for friends. It is a very good compilation of writings about prayer and has changed my whole prayer life. I have a much deeper commitment to prayer and trusting in the Lord to answer prayer in HIS timing.

This is an extremely helpful little guide to improving prayer life. It has changed my prayer life and was useful in building devotionals for our prayer group. An easy read and handy reference to the insights of some of the most recognized prayer warriors of the church. Give these away to friends and family and watch the changes in their lives.

For such a small book, it packs a powerful message! This book has been a tremendous help in motivating my prayer life. It is amazing how peaceful each day can be, even with life's ups and downs, if we stay in constant contact with God thru prayer. This book is a great tool to motivating those just beginning to pray, and improving times of prayer for seasoned prayer warriors. Enjoy!
