BobbyColumbia, SCAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Great read - Godly principlesFebruary 2, 2011BobbyColumbia, SCAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I think the ten commandments of dating is grounded in Godly principles and I personally love the scripture at the end of each chapter to support the topic text of each chapter. The book is much like courting books I have read except for the freedom of kissing mentioned in one section during the dating process. It would seem whether this mating game we people play is called betrothal, courting, rating, dating or digital dating it is the behavior that defines the name. It would also seem that throughout history we have demanded less restriction thus disallowing and denying God's ultimate protection regarding our help meet.

Barbara Randolph5 Stars Out Of 5March 4, 2008Barbara RandolphThis book is worth its weight in Godly wisdom for teens and parents as well. This book is an excellent resource to allow your child to gain dating wisdom without the pain of living through some of the issues. It contained all of the information I would want to tell my daughter about dating but would not have the wisdom to cover every single area in such depth. This book gives a commandment, a story to support the commandment, hope if you have broken the commandment, and then scripture to back up the commandment. Recommended by Focus on the Family, I am glad my daughter has this resource at her fingertips before she has begun to date. This book will be a treasure in your parenting and teen library.

Lauren5 Stars Out Of 5May 18, 2010LaurenI'm 22 years old, and I still thought this book was relevant to me. I grew up going to church every Sunday, and I was blessed to have a stable family, but yeah I guess I would've read this sooner... I'm thinking about introducing this to the girls I lead in the youth group. I think it'd be a great building block for a small group :)

Robin5 Stars Out Of 5June 15, 2005RobinThis is an excellent book - lots of information - however, this particular version is for the teenagers. If you are an adult on the dating scene, I would recommend the original version (published in 1999)...I read that one also and there is even more good information in it for adults.
