Review 1 for Bible Prophecy Handbook
Not what I expected. Got what I paid for
Date:April 8, 2013
This book wasn't quite what I expected. Its 158 pages are divided into 90 very short (1-2 pages) chapters, each consisting of less than a half page of text, followed by a few "need to know" points and "Think about it" questions like "What does the hope of Christ's return offer to your life right now?" (p. 45) or "If you were given the job of fashioning a new end-times bumber sticker, what would it say?" (p. 73). There's some good information about different interpretations of Bible prophecy in this book but it's not organised in any way at all to make it useful. There's also no index or table of contents.
The book was very attractively priced at less than $3 new so it was no big loss, but I'm sure there are other much better books on the subject to be find, if a bit (although probably not much) more expensive.
