Nest Family Entertainment Animated Bible Classics: The Good Samaritan, DVD
The Good Samaritan is perhaps the most touching parable that Jesus ever taught. The story begins with the lawyer's trick question, "What is the greatest commandment?" As Jesus answers with the story of the robbers, the Rabbi, the Levite and the wounded traveler becomes real. Imagine the traveler's emotion as his own countrymen pass by while his enemy, a Samaritan, stops to help him. Jesus teaches us to love and serve one another no matter how we differ in appearance or beliefs. A terrific way to teach a child this story of God's faithfulness. Recommended for ages 4 to 8. Running Time: Approximately 45 minutes, Dolby Digital Stereo. Directed by Richard Rich, former Walt Disney Productions director.

The kids at church were learning about the parable of the good samaritan last month. I purchased this DVD and was very pleased to have it available to show at the end of the month. It really reinforced the lessons and activities the kids did all month long!

My children were very interested in watching and listening this story. We spent time to read it first from the Children Bible and then we watched DVD. I like drawing - real people, and the story is according to the Bible! Thank you!

This video was wonderful! The story really shows us how we should take care of each other as Jesus asks us to. We loved watching this and are glad to add it to our library to enjoy over and over again.
