I just started the dvd today and have learned how to cast on and the knit stitch. I have never before knitted at all. The woman on the dvd does and excellent job of demonstrating exactly what you need to do. She shows more than one technique. And being in this format, you can pause or rewind if you need to. I have just begun - I can't wait to learn more! There is also a very helpful website to go to.
